Prepayments for phaLANx

People have been asking this so ill make a news post about it to validate it more.

We have been pushing prepayments this event for two reasons, firstly because bong still is in quite a lot of debt and we are keen to clean it up asap (debt to me and chris) Basically two or three more events of lantiseptic size will clean it up. Obviously larger events will clean it up sooner and mean we can start putting the small amount of money bong makes back into bong finally. New switches seem to be a popular choice but im not fussed.

Secondly because we would like to shift away from the honour system and have everyone prepaying. This may be slightly 'inconvenient' for you, but if you go to anything else, a concert or something, you pay for the ticket. Having the assurance of your attendance helps us enormously, especially when we only offer transferable credit not refunds. It also shows a level of commitment, loyalty and maturity which we hope to build within out loyal attendance base.

To help encourage prepayment we once again have a prepayments prize pool but we have weighted it much more heavily this time around.

This pool is exclusive to prepayed persons and each person can only win one thing.

Prepayments are normal rates ($20) and are via direct deposit (either deposit over the net, atm or at a bank branch) or drop to one of staff if you wish. Are non-refundable but are transferable to other events (but not other persons). We are happy to take more than one persons payment in the one transaction. Please label transactions as clearly as possible and be registered for phaLANx.

Pre-payments will close on Saturday October 29th (2 weeks before the lan, 1 week before confirmations start).

Once prepaid i will confirm you on ausgamers and then add you to the list maintained on the forums. If you cant attend you should contact us and remove your registration all together. No shows on the day will forfeit their fee. You have untill midday on november 12 to contact us saying that you cant make it (so if you break down call us).
