DCHub @ SummerLAN

Returning again for SummerLAN is the ever popular DChub service for all you free software and free media sharing needs.

This time around we'll be using different hub server software that supports the latest stable version of DC++ (available from http://www.dcpp.net) unlike previous events where we all had to roll back our versions due to the lack of development on the old software. 

Another advantage of this hub software comes in the form of administration.  This event will see the introduction of more proactive administration of the chat and hub in general compared to that of past events where admin and monitoring was generally non existant.  This way we can avoid irritating situations whereby a select few abuse the chat system with consistant flooding and general immaturity.  Now we can and will gag, kick and even ban individuals exhibiting such behavior at our discression making the service much more pleasant for the rest of out patrons.

Remember, as always, Fragfest staff will request that you remove content if reasonable complaints are received from other patrons (we have never had such issues in the past) and failure to comply with these requests will result in your removal from the service.  Fragfest accepts no responcibility for any loss or damage caused by your use of the DChub service.  You share and download AT YOUR OWN RISK.
