Been and Gone

I've just gotten home from my Parent's place post Rebooted.

There were no problems as far as network, power or any other aspect of the LAN was concerned. Big thanks to Netgear for supplying us with much switched goodness and NMC for supplying us with servery goodness. A big thanks to those who helped setup; Whitey-Ford, 'Borg, Insider, Talis and anyone else I've forgotten. Also, a big cheers to Wolfman for supplying servers - sorry that they weren't used more.

With that out of the way, I must say, the turn out was incredibly dissapointing. I see this as a result of two things; The availibility of broadband and us having not LANned in a while. But if you have no intention of turning up to a LAN, why register for it? Expect some sort of write up and possibly pictures soonish.
