kLANk in review

Well lets see what can I say about kLANk...

kLANk was fairly similar to the last LAN except that there was less fun and more people leeching. When we were actually playing games i was enjoying it but there were huge gaps in between when people were too busy copying to play games.

But there was MTA for all, and plenty of UT2k4. Valve crushed my dreams of some quality HL DM when HL2 was shipped without a basic DM gamemode. Valve is using the fact that they have the best selling shooter of all time to force the market to accept their crappy extras, like Camper-Strike and Steam (aka Scheme).

I'm going to fload the idea of getting some people to bring a few Xbox's and TV's to the next LAN on the mailing list some time in the next few weeks and how this might best be arranged, since people spend a lot of time sitting there watching text files copy from other computers i think it might be very succesful.

Need to get prizes for next LAN too, if anyone works for a company that wants some exposure please let us know!
